CONSTRUCTION BEGINS ON NEW CHKD HEALTH CENTER IN CHESAPEAKE
The City of Chesapeake and Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters have announced the start of construction on a new, full-service CHKD Health Center in Chesapeake that will consolidate and house practices and services currently located in leased facilities on Volvo Parkway and at Kingsborough Square.

The 60,000-square-foot, 3-story building will be located on 6.7 acres at 500 Discovery Drive in the Oakbrooke Business and Technology Center near the intersection of Battlefield Boulevard and Kempsville Road. The $24 million facility is planned to open in December 2009.

MITREV EYE CENTER PURCHASES SUITE AT OAKBROOKE PROFESSIONAL CENTER
Dr. Peter V. Mitrev of the Mitrev Eye Center, has purchased Suite 102 at the Oakbrooke Professional Center in Chesapeake, Virginia. The Oakbrooke Professional Center is a new three story Class "A" Office Condominium building designed for medical and professional users.
